Grading policy:

  • Homework: 30%
  • Midterm 1: 35%
  • Midterm 2: 35%

Exams:

  • Midterm 1: April 30, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM; Physics 2000.
  • Midterm 2: June 8, 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM; Physics 2000.
    Note: the second midterm is not cumulative.

Exams consist of a short answer section and a multiple choice section.

Students must provide a scantron form for both exams

Homework:

There are 9 homework assignments; available thorough Blackboard (http://ilearn.ucr.edu/)

  • The due day is indicated in each homework. No late assignments will be accepted
  • All assignments are to be submitted through Blackboard (http://ilearn.ucr.edu/)
  • The homework grade will be calculated by dropping the lowest assignment
  • All assignments are worth the same

IMPORTANT: Students have 1 week after the due date to inform the instructor and/or TA's of any problems with the electronic submission of homework assignments.
